‘The Wings' is a charity home for retired actresses in straitened circumstances who have been stars in their day. The aged ladies grow old disgracefully amidst squabbles, jealousies and grandiose memories. A once very famous actress arrives who had been married to the ex-husband of one of the inmates. This sparks a feud involving the entire home. Set in the UK and written in the 1960's.
